HATHA YOGA

Practicing traditional Yoga is the character of every class at Ganesha. We balance our two energies: masculine and feminine; hot and cold; the sun and the moon, through morning classes of restorative yoga and Sun Salutations and afternoon classes to honor the feminine with MoonShine and Moon Salutations. Practicing Pranayama or breathing techniques on every class, introducing Mudras or hand/body gestures to work our system in certain way. ​

YOGA DANCE

The purpose of the dance is to release men from illusion of the idea of the "self" and of the physical world. The gestures of the dance represent Shiva's five activities, creation, protection, destruction, embodiment and release.

Dance. Movement. Expression. Through pure movement of the human body, I can express myself better than in any other way. One usually associates dance with clarity and beauty, a performing art that is pleasing to the eye. I believe that dance goes beyond aesthetics. Dance can heal and cure people. It can provide a healthy and comforting environment for individuals suffering from psychological disorders, mental retardation, autism, cancer and other conditions. Dance can set people free on a physical and psychological level. It is a means of expressing oneself without any boundaries.

 

INFUSED YOGA

Infused Yoga classes are a concept of connecting with nature elements and our chakra system. Waking up our senses with essential oils and teas throughout the practice of flows, mudras and bandhas. Releasing everything into the ground and receiving light with gratitude.​

 

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra is deep relaxation with an inner state of awareness. In the state of Yoga Nidra the consciousness functions at a deeper level and the subconscious and the unconscious realms of the mind are more open. Yoga Nidra has been found to reduce stress, tension and anxiety; is beneficial for insomnia and to calm symptoms of chronic pain, headaches, depression, high blood pressure, heart disease, autoimmune disease, helps to balance the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous Systems and has been shown to help those in recovery from addiction. It is said that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep.

Yoga Classes in the comfort of your home. Designed to fit your needs, addressing the unique body and health issues. The classes are structured to reach clients’ specific goals and needs. I have experience with many issues, including sciatica, overweight, asthma, depression and anxiety, sports injuries, balance issues and clients undergoing chemotherapy.
